As an approved vendor, we are mandated to follow the rules and regulations set forth by the Washington Department of Corrections.

Washington Food Package Program
Per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 137.25.030 the Department of Corrections prohibits: “Giving, selling, borrowing, lending, or trading money or anything of value to, or accepting or purchasing money or anything of value from, another Incarcerated Individual & Incarcerated Individual’s family.” Violation of WAC 137.25.030 may result in a serious infraction.
FOOD PACKAGE PROGRAM INFORMATION: The items in this catalog have been approved by the Washington Department of Corrections. Incarcerated individuals (I/I) are allowed one (1) package every Bi-monthly ordering period with a limit of 20 lbs. ship weight (320 oz.) per order. Incarcerated individuals in segregation and IMU classification are not allowed orders. Package privileges are subject to change without notice.
ORDERING INFORMATION: The incarcerated population is allowed to order one (1) package every Bi-monthly ordering period. Below is the ordering schedule:
1. If an order is placed in April or May, the next order can be placed in June
2. If an order is placed in June or July, the next order can be placed in August
3. If an order is placed in August or September, the next order can be placed in October
FAMILY/FRIENDS ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS: Orders are accepted April 1st through September 30th, 2024 via phone, web, and mail.
INCARCERATED INDIVIDUALS ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS: Please obtain an order form from your Unit Staff at your institution. Submit your completed form to the Unit Staff for processing. The Business Office will verify the payment amount and deduct from your trust account. They will then mail the order form and payment to Union Supply Direct for processing.
PRODUCT: In an effort to fulfill all orders in the most efficient manner possible, if an item is out of stock, your order will be picked without it and the customer will be refunded.
CATALOG UPDATES: Union Supply Direct attempts to show and describe merchandise and all related information as accurately as possible. However, Union Supply Direct does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of our catalog or website is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. In addition, manufacturers may make changes in product design, color, package size and style at any time. Union Supply Direct reserves the right to update or correct item information and to change prices and offers at any time. If a product offered by Union Supply Direct is not as described in the catalog or website, your sole remedy is to immediately return the unused item for a refund of the purchase price in accordance with your facility’s rules and regulations.
RETURNS: Used or abused items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. Please check all your items upon receipt. If any of these items are found to be missing, defective or damaged in shipping, please notify a facility staff inventorying your package immediately. Damaged or defective food items will be refunded. If the original payment was made by credit or debit card, approved refunds will be credited back to the card used in the original purchase, including prepaid credit and debit cards.
PAYMENT METHOD: Union Supply Direct accepts the following forms of payment: credit card, personal check or money order (must be domestic, printed in the U.S.) or cash payment through ACE Cash Express. Your credit card will be billed upon placement of your order. We accept all major credit and debit cards with the following logos: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. The following forms of payments are not accepted: Green Dot, Cash App, Apple Pay. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact card holder name, billing address, CVV code and telephone number that your credit card issuer bank has on file for you.

***TRANSFER FEE: There is a $15.00 Transfer Fee added separately to the price of typewriters, Music Items and televisions. If an incarcerated individual is transferred to another facility before the package is received, the package will be forwarded to the new facility.
***HOBBY CRAFT PERMIT: Hobby Craft Permit is required for Hobby Craft purchases.
CLEAR TUNES & EMERSON TELEVISION WARRANTY: Union Supply Direct offers 180 day limited warranty service on all Clear Tunes and Emerson televisions. SEE THE LIMITED WARRANTY ENCLOSED WITH YOUR TELEVISION FOR THE FULL TERMS OF YOUR WARRANTY. This warranty DOES NOT COVER cosmetic damage, antenna, AC cords, cabinets, stands head bands, ear-pads, or damage due to line power surges, connection to improper voltage supply or settings, misuse, mishandling, improper application, accident, acts of God, or attempted repair by an unauthorized service agent. To return a defective TV, within the 180 day warranty, please report the item to your property officer. The return package must include: (1) the defective television; (2) a copy of the original receipt, (3) all of the accessories that came with the product, and (4) your full name, inmate number, facility name and physical address (no PO Boxes are accepted).
RCA TELEVISION WARRANTY: Union Supply Direct offers 180 day warranty service on all RCA televisions. SEE THE LIMITED WARRANTY ENCLOSED WITH YOUR TELEVISION FOR THE FULL TERMS OF YOUR WARRANTY. This limited warranty DOES NOT APPLY to damage, including cosmetic damage, failure, loss or personal injury due to misuse, abuse, negligence, improper maintenance or storage, or to acts of nature or other causes beyond control. Causes beyond control include but are not limited to lightning strike, power surges, power outages, and water damage. To return a defective TV, within the 180 day warranty, please report the item to your property officer. The return package must include: (1) the defective television, (2) a copy of the original receipt, (3) all of the accessories that came with the product, and (4) your full name, incarcerated individual number, facility name, and physical address (no PO Boxes are accepted).
Union Supply Limited Warranty Returns: All items in this program are covered by Union Supply’s 30-day warranty against manufacturer defects. Defective products are subject to be inspected and authorized by Property Staff and must include valid proof of purchase. Approved warranty items will be returned to Union Supply for replacement or refund.
Manufacturer Limited Warranty Returns: Any product covered by a manufacturer’s warranty beyond the Union Supply 30-day warranty must be returned using the process and criteria as stated on or inside the products you have purchased. These items are subject to inspection and authorization for return by staff.
